Bringing with him a diverse background in the public and private sectors as well as almost 30 years in the construction industry, Jordan DeCandia joined Mc Gowan in 2017 as a Project Executive, managing daily operations of the construction process from estimating to project close-out. In addition to providing oversight, he assists by facilitating communication between the design team and client to achieve project goals.
Mr. DeCandia is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management and maintains several OSHA certifications.
Jordan currently represents Mc Gowan as Project Executive for the new $30 million Five One Five condominium project in Manhattan’s High Line Park area.
Since joining Mc Gowan in 2006, Junior Pichinin has worked hand-in-hand with owners, architects and contractors to develop accurate cost models customized to a client’s needs. He is responsible for budgeting, conceptual and hard bid estimating of all renovation and new construction projects, from concept to final design drawings, including the $90 million Dream Downtown Hotel project, the Marriott Residence Inn conversion in Lower Manhattan, and several large educational institution projects.
Junior holds a B.S. Honors Degree in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University with an emphasis on Construction Management and earned the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence in 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006.
As Project Estimator, Matt is responsible for budgeting, conceptual and hard bid estimating of all renovation and new construction projects. He is involved in the entire process from concept to final design drawings working hand-in-hand with owners, architects and contractors to develop accurate cost models based on a client’s individual needs.
Matt has been with Mc Gowan since 2006, first as a plan clerk before moving up to an estimator role. His recent project involvement includes The School at Columbia University, Liquiteria juice bar locations, the Governors Island Historical Preservation Project and the Transit Wireless Data Center.
Ozzy joined the Mc Gowan team in 2017 with extensive experience as both a Construction Superintendent and Estimator, responsible for projects such as The Rise, an $85 million ground-up residential building in Jersey City.
He earned a degree in Building Construction from New York City Technical College and has been working in the New Jersey construction industry for more than a decade.
Emmet originally joined Mc Gowan’s Florida team in 2006, gaining project management experience ranging from core and shell projects to interior fit-outs and renovations. His New York City experience includes the impressive 200,000-square-foot Dream Downtown Hotel in Manhattan, overseeing $100 million in construction costs, as well as other high-profile luxury residential and mixed-use projects. He is current managing the One Park luxury residential project in Cliffside Park, NJ.
As Senior PM, Emmet is responsible for complete project oversight of the construction process ranging from permitting to project closeout, inclusive of estimating, scheduling, contract negotiation, monitoring of performance and managing the closeout phase on selected projects to guarantee perfection on every aspect of the work.
Emmet holds a BAI Honors Degree in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from University of Dublin, Trinity College, Ireland as well as a BA Degree in Mathematics and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Project Management.
William Morace joined Mc Gowan in 2013 directing projects ranging from $2 million to $80 million in value, including the Governors Island Historical Preservation Project and Lower Manhattan’s luxury residential building River & Warren.
At Mc Gowan, Bill is responsible for all facets of project management, including scheduling, coordination of all parties involved, preparation and submittal of necessary documentation, and assistance with project close out.
Bill earned his degree in Construction Management from the Pratt Institute School of Architecture and attended the Carpenters Apprenticeship Program with emphasis on Construction Management at NYC Brotherhood of Carpenters Labor Technical College in New York.
Robert has held positions as a Project Executive in the construction industry for almost three decades, joining Mc Gowan in 2015 as a Project Manager.
As PM, Robert is responsible for management of the entire construction process ranging from permitting to project closeout. He previously managed large scale projects such as the renovation of the 1.3 million square foot Jersey Gardens Mall, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Construction Management from Rutgers University and Rutgers Graduate School.
