Thursday's Restaurant

Thursday's Fort Lauderdale is a French Bistro restaurant located in the heart of Las Olas. The interior of Thursday’s is a visually stunning presentation that excites while inviting comfort. Guests enjoy an authentic-feeling Parisian Bistro décor with rich textures designed to enhance their culinary experience.

This complicated transformation from an Oriental rug store with café into a 6,000 square foot bar and restaurant took twenty weeks. Heavy structural elements were required to remove the load-bearing wall in order to implement the open floor plan. The front façade was modified in order to accommodate outdoor patio seating.

The project encompassed a complete fit-out including new mezzanine, kitchen and bathrooms, as well as new civil work to upgrade the building's water and fire sprinkler connections.

The unique lighting design and installation was provided by Smart LED Concepts, a specialty company featured on the popular TV show Billion Dollar Buyer.

The interior décor is largely built with salvaged materials from the original Thursday’s location in Montréal, Canada. Mc Gowan worked closely with the owners, designers and consultants to repurpose materials and give them a new twist for future generations.
